This image represents the appearance of the Moon during the evening of March 3, 2007, at approximately 7:08 pm EST.

The moon will be only 10 degrees above the horizon as visible to observers at  40 degrees North latitude. The star 59 Leonis , 4.96 magnitude
will have just emerged from being occulted  a few minutes earlier. The star should re-appear at 7:07:22 pm EST from the Pittsburgh area from
the dark edge of the moon as illustrated in this diagram
